Mr. Sotomayor has been a practicing accountant since 1984, serving a diversified client base in the United States and Latin America.  Mr. Sotomayor is a frequent international speaker on the topics of Quality Control for Accounting Firms and Global Accounting Practices.

Mr. Sotomayor is a member of the USA International Qualifications Appraisal Board and Technical Adviser in matters of Accounting and Auditing to the USA Trade Negotiator.  He is also an Adviser to the editor of the magazine, “Journal of Accountancy.”

Mr. Sotomayor is the managing partner of Sotomayor & Associates, LLP, an international accounting and consulting firm, and is one of the founding members of MBC.
