| Jeannie has over 30 years of management experience with major hospitals and healthcare organizations and specializes in medical consulting services including business management, revenue enhancement, coding and chart review, managed care and capitation, banking, accounts receivable management and accounting. As CEO of MBC, Ms. Villalba oversees the development and delivery of these services to hospitals, physicians, managed-care organizations and other health care providers.
Jeannie’s experience includes managing over $100 million in annual receivables with over 100 clients and multiple specialties, assessments of physician and hospital business offices and establishing policies and procedures to enhance revenue and improve efficiency.
Jeannie was the executive director of operations of a national publicly traded medical billing and practice management company. She was recognized for the successful achievements in developing functional systems and built-in quality controls which are now in place at Medical Business Concepts.
Jeannie was also a consultant with E.M.F. & Associates, where she evaluated primary care and hospital business offices to establish procedures to enhance revenue and improve employee efficiency. She has worked with major hospitals (Encino Hospital, John Muir Memorial Hospital, Ralph K. Davis, and Glendale Adventist Medical Center), helping them to review and implement procedures for billing and reimbursement, improve productivity and establish quality assurance systems.
Eugenia started MBC in 1996 as a medical practice consulting firm, and through client demand, developed the medical billing company. Eugenia has extensive experience in billing collections, A/R management, Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMOs, PPOs, IPA, B/C, B/S and state-funded programs, and is experienced in contract negotiations, integrating tracking procedures for managed care plans and a host of other health-care related tasks.
Ms. Villalba graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelors degree in Business Management and was awarded with a CMC certificate from the Los Angeles County Medical Association. Currently Eugenia belongs to the American Health Information Management Association, Medical Group Management Association, Practice Management Institute, and the Radiology Business Management Association. |
